BANJARMASIN– ASEAN Muslim Students Association (AMSA) menyelenggarakan kegiatan Intenational Youth Conference 2018 (IYC 2018) di Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan Indonesia. Kegiatan Konferensi pemuda internasional kali ini yang menjadi mitra pelaksana kampus Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Darul Hijrah dengan Ketua Pelaksana Muhammad Hanafi.
Ketua Pelaksana Muhammad Hanafi, menyampaikan bahwa pertemuan pemuda internasional khususnya wilayah ASEAN ini adalah bentuk upaya mereka selaku pelajar muslim untuk memperkuat ukhwah sesama pemuda muslim dengan mengadakan konferensi, disana mereka akan membahas problematika yang terjadi di negara-negara kawasan ASEAN namun dengan mengedepankan asas dan landasan Islam.
Dijelaskan Hanafi, Konferensi akan membahas tujuh tema diantaranya Pendidikan, Pembangunan Karakter, Ekonomi Syariah, Sosial Kultur, Perdamaian dan Kemanusiaan, Dakwah dan Politik. International Youth Conference (IYC 2018) akan dilaksanakan pada 30 Oktober 2018 sampai 2 November 2018, yang mana seluruh member dan delegasi akan merapat ke Kota Seribu Sungai sejak tanggal 29 Oktober nanti. Tempat pelaksanaan yakni di Efa Hotel Banjarmasin bekerjasama dengan Efa Hotel Banjarmasin selaku pemilik, Agustin Nur Martina Putri.
“Kegiatan ini disupport langsung oleh Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia, Pemerintah Kota Banjarmasin, Pemerintah Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan serta pihak lainnya yang telah membantu untuk mengsukseskan pertemuan internasional ini,” jelas Hanafi.
Ditambahkan, Arisandi Hidayatullah, Ketua Umum AMSA Zona IV Kalimantan yang merupakan Director Of Program International Youth Conference AMSA Kalimantan juga berpendapat.
“Pertemuan Internasional ini kita mengharapkan terjalinnya ukhwah sesama pemuda maupun pelajar muslim se-ASEAN, dengan menjalin peradaban dan memperkuat ukhwah kita akan bersama-sama saling mengisi dan saling membesarkan sesama member AMSA dan sesama pemuda muslim dikawasan ASEAN,” tutup Aris sapaan akrabnya itu.
